リサイクルウール糸は、使用済みのウール製品や工場で出る裁断クズなどを回収し、反毛の機械でワタ状の原材料に戻し再び紡績した糸のことです。製品の廃棄ロスを抑えて貴重な繊維資源を再利用でき、生地の生産工程を簡略化することで廃水、CO₂、化学薬品の使用を削減することが可能になります。
Recycled wool yarn is made by collecting used wool products or cutting waste from factories, returning them to cotton-like raw material by machine, and then spinning them again into yarn. Reducing product waste and reusing valuable fiber resources, and possible to reduce wastewater, CO₂, and the use of chemicals by simplifying the production process of fabrics.
