Dope dyed polyester yarn

原着ポリエステルとは、原料のポリエステルペレットを溶かして繊維にする際に顔料や染料を加えて着色するポリエステルのことです。通常は、繊維を1kg染めるために約150ℓの水を加熱して使いますが、その染色工程がないため水使用量、エネルギー消費量、CO₂排出量を大幅に削減できます。
Dope dyed yarn is polyester that is colored by adding pigments or dyes when the polyester pellets of raw material are melted down and made into fiber. In general dyeing process, approx.150 liters of heated water is used for dyeing 1kg of fiber, but dope dyeing is no need for that process, so the water and energy consumption, CO₂ emissions can be significantly reduced.
